Collegio Carlo Alberto

Collegio Carlo Alberto (CCA) is a distinguished scientific institution based in Turin (Italy) with a vast experience in the study of deliberation.

CCA has been actively involved in projects and public events with students. A recent example is a round of lectures on “Young people and Europe”, involving students from the last year of high school, that CCA organised before the 2019 European elections. In addition, CCA members recently evaluated the impact of a policy programme launched by an Italian NGO aimed at reducing gender gaps and fighting gender stereotypes in high schools.

CCA’s expertise will serve the M4D2 testing phase, to plan the operative steps for all partners and to directly conduct the test with school and university students. CCA will provide specific expertise on the design and management of deliberative and participatory processes that will be conducted in different high schools and universities in a range of selected countries in Europe, by providing the material and toolkit already developed by CCA for deliberation in schools.
